Some thoughts: Dr. Ben Kohls is currently director of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program at Bethany Lutheran College. He brings over 15 years of experience as a practicing clinical mental health counselor. His passion for personal growth and living well is evident throughout his conversations with his very accomplished guests. Some of Kohls’ guests are WELS; others are experts in mental health and other related fields.

Each episode features an in-depth conversation surrounding mental wellness topics, from family resiliency and maternal mental health to suffering, compassion, and selfcare. Kohls seamlessly weaves Christianity and its connection with wellness into some of the conversations he shares with his podcast guests. While podcast episodes are not overtly doctrinal or Lutheran in nature, listeners will gain a greater understanding of mental and emotional well-being from Kohls’ Bible-based perspective.
