Book nook: Trusting God More

We all have fears and worries when life gets hard, no matter how often we pray or read the Bible. We are no different than the father of the demon-possessed boy in Mark chapter 9 who says he believes but then also asks Jesus to help him overcome his unbelief.

That’s why Pastor John Covach penned My 180: Trusting God More. It’s a well-written, carefully thought-out Bible study that helps us see God’s love and more fully understand his promises. It reminds us to trust him in all circumstances.

Similar to previous My 180 books from Northwestern Publishing House, this study is intended to be digested over 180 days. For each day (day 1 through day 180), Covach asks us to read a specific Bible chapter or verse. He shares his personal journal notes about the reading. Then he invites us to write our own thoughts about it. Covach also provides some relevant and powerful stories from his own life as well as helpful study tips.

My 180: Trusting God More is worth your time and commitment, in my opinion. I like how intentional Covach is with the selection and order of the Bible readings from both the Old and New Testaments. He leads you to discover irrefutable truths that can only lead to a stronger faith.

This book can be a blessing to anyone who is looking to grow closer to the real and true God.
