On June 8, St. Andrew, Middleton, Wis., celebrated the 40th anniversary in the pastoral ministry of Randy Hunter.

During the summer, the Ladies Aid of St. John, Frontenac, Minn., and Immanuel, Lake City, Minn., held an old-fashioned picnic.

On Aug. 1, Ascension, Moorhead, Minn., hosted a community event that included members from St. Paul, Valley City, N.D., and Shepherd of the Valley, West Fargo, N.D.

St. Peter, St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, celebrated its 60th anniversary on Sept. 28.

MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN

In September, Anchor, Marquette, Mich., celebrated the first anniversary of its opening service as a home mission congregation.

SCROGGINS, TEXAS

Grace, Scroggins, Texas, held a Summer Sisters Scripture Study at various coffee shops.

MENOMONEE FALLS, WISCONSIN

On Sept. 28, Collin Vanderhoof (left), pastor at Pilgrim, Menomonee Falls, Wis., presented member Phill Lepple with his Evangelism Certificate from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn. This certificate program includes three one-credit classes to help members gain the understanding and skills to lead, create, and participate in congregational evangelism efforts.

WEST BEND, WISCONSIN

On Sept. 20, members of Good Shepherd, West Bend, Wis., collected 21 barrels of food for a local food pantry as part of the congregation’s Faith in Action Day.
