Podcast: Faith Footnotes

Description:Faith Footnotes: Christian Conversations with Northwestern Publishing House (NPH) is a Christian podcast all about practical resources for Christian living. Hosted by Joshua Vick and Tanya Gerbing from NPH, this podcast features engaging conversations with Christian authors, explores helpful answers to common questions about the Christian life, digs deep into faith-related topics, and more.”

A taste of previous topics: Brand-new on the podcasting scene, Northwestern Publishing House’s monthly podcast has touched on politics, devotional resources for families, and the value of Christian resources—all while acquainting listeners with the various resources available through NPH. In future episodes, Vick and Gerbing hope to discuss topics like making reading God’s Word a daily habit, coping with anxiety as a Christian, and growing in faith together as a couple.

Length: Approx. 30 min.

Some thoughts: In each episode, Vick and Gerbing interview a guest—typically an author published by NPH. For example, in November, they interviewed Pastor Andy Schroer, author of 364 Days of Thanksgiving: A Devotional Journal. The group discussed the inspiration behind Schroer’s book and highlighted the benefits of gratitude and intentionally focusing on the blessings God gives. Faith Footnotes listeners will develop an arsenal of book recommendations and strategies for integrating Christian resources into their everyday lives. Vick says, “Looking to 2025, our goal is to continue addressing common questions and challenges Christians face and providing practical, Christ-centered resources, encouragement, and advice.”
