Other ministry notes

On April 19, Shepherd of the Hills, Las Vegas, Nev., welcomed 40 new members into its congregation—20 adult confirmands, 19 children, and one transfer from another WELS church. Twenty-five of the 40 were baptized at Shepherd of the Hills.

Bethany, Gibsonia, Penn., held its first art camp during the summer as an opportunity to serve its community and invite neighbors to visit.

Almost 300 people donated clothing for the annual clothing giveaway coordinated by St. Mark Ministries, Green Bay, Wis., which ended up serving more than 800 people.
