Meet James Pope
James Pope served as a parish pastor for 19 years and a Martin Luther College professor for 21 years. He authored “Light for our path,” a question and answer feature in Forward in Christ, for six years and was the responder of questions submitted to the synod’s website for eight years. He has served as the executive editor of Forward in Christ, the official magazine of WELS, since January 2023.
