On Feb. 28, 2021, Living Hope, Commerce City, Colo., honored Judi Sullivan for the 60 years that she has played piano for worship services.
Members at Living Shepherd, Laramie, Wyo., a WELS home mission, worked hard to prepare to move into their new worship facility. They held their first worship service there on March 7.
Southeastern Wisconsin
Chaplains in Schools, a WELS-affiliated ministry, celebrated the baptisms of ten children of God on March 20, including the boy pictured (right).
On Feb. 28, Living Word, Waukesha, Wis., a WELS home mission, held its first worship service in its new facility. Living Word broke ground on this new worship center in 2019. It includes a coffee shop and space to facilitate outreach to local high school students. WELS Church Extension Fund supported the project with grants and loans.
Arizona–California
On Feb. 28, the A Capella Choir of Arizona Lutheran Academy, Phoenix, Ariz., sang at Heritage, Gilbert, Ariz.
