SC Divine Savior Baptisms March 2023
On Jan. 22, nine students from Divine Savior Academy–Santa Rita Ranch, Liberty Hill, Texas, were baptized.

MLC Guayama Puerto Rico MN March 2023
A group of six Martin Luther College students traveled to Guayama, Puerto Rico, with Prof. Isaiah Degner over Christmas break as part of the school’s Daylight USA mission trip program. Students helped a sister church with cleaning, painting, and outreach.

Emmanuel Choir AZCA March 2023
The junior choir of Emmanuel, Tempe, Ariz., appeared on a Phoenix news station on Dec. 15, 2022. The choir sang a setting of “Of the Father’s Love Begotten.”

WESTERN WISCONSIN

WW Mark Kjenstad March 2023
On Dec. 11, 2022, St. Andrew, Middleton, Wis., honored its staff minister of nurture, Mark Kjenstad, for producing 100 episodes of the congregation’s podcast, Impact. New episodes are released each week at st-andrew-online.org/impact and feature interviews with Bible scholars to help listeners grow in their understand of Scripture.

SEW urban Missionaries March 2023
In January, representatives from WELS churches located in big cities attended a conference for urban missionaries at St. Andrew, Chicago, Ill.
