SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN
On April 28, Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, Wis., celebrated the 40th anniversary in the pastoral ministry of E. Allen Sorum.
Kenosha Lutheran Academy, Kenosha, Wis., celebrated the 25th anniversary in the teaching ministries of Karen Tenyer and David Leonard.
On May 4, 13 students from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Milwaukee, Wis., were baptized during the school’s daily chapel service. Another three were baptized during a private ceremony.
On May 7, Bethlehem, Menomonee Falls/Germantown, Wis., confirmed 50 young people, the largest confirmation class in congregation history.
On June 4, Good Shepherd, West Bend, Wis., celebrated the service anniversaries of teachers Dan Schultz (40 years), Patty Holem (35 years), and Carol Janke (25 years).
Illinois Lutheran Schools, Crete, Ill., celebrated the service anniversaries of teachers Joe Archer (45 years), Tim Rimpel (45 years), Beth Schuppe (40 years), Scott Sievert (40 years), and Pam Brudos (20 years).
ARIZONA-CALIFORNIA
On May 27, California Lutheran High School, Wildomar, Calif., celebrated the service anniversaries of teacher Vickie Faust (25 years) and school secretary Sarah Garvin (10 years).
MINNESOTA
St. Croix Lutheran Academy celebrated the 25th anniversary in the teaching ministry of Ryan Rathje.
NEBRASKA
Salem, Colorado Springs, Colo., celebrated its 50th anniversary on May 21.
NORTHERN WISCONSIN
Faith, Fond du Lac, Wis., celebrated the 20th anniversary of Diane Poch’s service as hot lunch coordinator on May 25.
WESTERN WISCONSIN
St. Peter, Helenville, Wis., is celebrating its 175th anniversary with four special services throughout the year.
