On June 22, Beautiful Savior, Cincinnati, Ohio, celebrated the 40th anniversary in the pastoral ministry of Thomas Westra.

St. John’s, Pardeeville, Wis., celebrated the 40th anniversary in the teaching ministry of Noreen Wilson on July 27.

On Aug. 10, St. Paul’s, Fort Atkinson, Wis., dedicated its new gymnasium that seats more than 300 people.

Light of the World, Fairbanks, Alaska, celebrated its 50th anniversary on Aug. 17.

On Aug. 17, St. Paul’s, Livingston, Mont., celebrated the 40th anniversary in the pastoral ministry of Paul Stern.

Justin Gut was recognized for his 25th anniversary in the teaching ministry at the opening service of Lakeside Lutheran High School, Lake Mills, Wis., on Aug. 18.

On Sept. 20, Hope Christian Academy, formerly known as Huron Valley Lutheran High School, celebrated 50 years of providing Christian education in Westland, Mich.

HUNTERSVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA

On July 26, Huntersville Lutheran, Huntersville, N.C., dedicated its new worship facility. WELS Church Extension Fund, Inc., helped the church fulfill its purpose to provide “a place for people to learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ and a place for future generations to hear that good news” by offering the congregation a loan and a grant for the project.

LAKE MILLS, WISCONSIN

The 2025 Mission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Conference was held July 18–20 at St. Paul, Lake Mills, Wis. AMMON, IDAHO

Christ Alone, Ammon, Idaho, celebrated its grand opening service and public launch on Aug. 24. Christ Alone was approved for Home Missions funding in 2023 and installed its first missionary, Paul Krueger, in February 2024.

WILLIS, TEXAS
