The 2024 celebration of “A Very Special Christmas” marked 20 years of this event for those with special needs taking place at New Life, Kenosha, Wis.

Bethlehem, Menomonee Falls/Germantown, Wis., celebrated the ministry anniversaries of faculty and staff members on Jan. 12, including the 15th anniversary in the pastoral ministry of Gerald “Phil” Arnold.
WATERTOWN, SOUTH DAKOTA
The Yearbook Club of Great Plains Lutheran High School, Watertown, S.D., assembled fleece tie blankets and then dropped them off at the Watertown Police Department (shown) and a local cancer center to help comfort children and others in crisis.

God blessed Divine Savior–Santa Rita Ranch, Liberty Hill, Texas, with 15 baptisms on Jan. 19.
GARDEN GROVE, CALIFORNIA
The Vietnamese outreach ministry at King of Kings, Garden Grove, Calif., held its first Vietnamese-language worship service on Dec. 22, 2024. The second service (pictured) was held on Jan. 26. Trung Lê (pictured standing up front), a 2023 graduate of the Pastoral Studies Institute, leads this ministry, which is funded by the WELS Joint Mission Council.
