Miracles in Mark - When hearts grow hard
|
On Thursdays in April, pastor Jonathan Bourman is leading a series of Zoom Bible study sessions that take a closer look at Jesus' miracles in the book of Mark.
|
This Thursday, participants will gain valuable insight into the miracle of Jesus walking on water. That miracle opens the door to what is often a little-discussed, but vital biblical theme: the hardening of the heart.
|
We will also look at 1 Samuel 2 to better understand how that can happen. And then we will see the undying faithfulness of Jesus, who breaks up our rocky spaces and keeps growing us in his gospel.

Want to prepare ahead of time? Read and meditate on Mark 6:45–56 and 1 Samuel 2:12–26. (Preparation is not required to participate.)
