For 60 years, the Central Africa Medical Mission (CAMM) has been providing health care to people in Africa through clinics in Malawi and Zambia, serving over 70,000 patients a year.
Fifty miles outside of Lusaka, Zambia, the Lutheran Mission Rural Health Centre, commonly known as Mwembezhi, provides preventive health care for children and expectant women, as well as treatment of patients with illnesses such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, parasitic infections, and tuberculosis.
The Lutheran Mobile Clinic in Malawi holds clinics at four rural villages, traveling to three locations once a week and one every other week. Each clinic site has a one-room building, which also serves as a church site on Sundays and for other gatherings during the week.
