John 3:16. Just seeing that verse makes us think of God’s love for the world—a love so big that he gave up his Son.
Reading through or listening to the Passion History each Lent magnifies that love. Within a space of 40 days, we receive countless reminders of the depth of Jesus’ love for sinners. Our articles this month highlight this love—whether it’s his humble processional into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey (Devotion: Not my kind of king), the countless decisions he made to love us during times of trial (Moments of decision), or his submission to a godless government even when he had ultimate control (Honoring government through sacrifice).
