Taste and See, LWMS example

A tasty mission

Marilyn Bitter, an active member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS) from St. Paul, Fort Atkinson, Wis., not only watched every WELS Taste and See presentation but also hosted a luncheon featuring five of the dishes from the Taste and See cooking tutorials. Her guests were treated to Bulgarian Tomato Salad, Russian Hunter's Salad, Canadian Cauliflower Pie, Creamy Boneless Chicken Handi from Pakistan, and Carlota de Limón from Latin America. To see the recipes for these dishes, visit welstasteandsee.com/activities.

Bitter is a member of the Rock River Circuit of the LWMS. Some fellow circuit members met at St. Matthew, Oconomowoc, Wis., for a watch party on June 27 for the virtual opening worship service of Taste and See (see photos below).

And the winners are . . .

Brad Clark and Abby Rollenhagen are the winners of FIC's "Refer a friend" offer. Brad referred Abby for a free FIC e-news subscription, and the two of them will now each receive a $25 gift card to Northwestern Publishing House.

Thank you to everyone who participated! We appreciate all the support we receive from our FIC community. It's not too late to still refer your friends. You won't win a gift card--but your friends might find FIC's e-news a blessing on their walk of faith.
