Christmas is about you
Another Christmas for Kids Saturday was wrapping up. The children had learned about the birth of Jesus. They heard how the Lord chose Mary to give birth to their Savior. They learned about the angels telling the shepherds the wonderful news and how the shepherds ran into Bethlehem to find the baby Jesus. The children sang songs, created crafts, and even made a snack that all reinforced what they had learned in their lesson.

Now it was time for the closing devotion. I wanted to see what the children had learned. So I asked the question, “Who is Christmas all about?” Three-year-old Alex didn’t miss a beat. With a big smile on his face, he patted his chest and answered, “Me!”
